چکیده
In the late Middle to early Late Jurassic carbonate-clastic Sirogojno Melange in Zlatibor Mountain there is one roughly 35 m thick overturned block with an intact Triassic fore-reefal Dachstein Limestone succession studied for its biostratigraphic age, content and microfacies characteristics. The starts coarse-grained rudstones followed by meter-sized reefal blocks intercalated partly layered resedimented grainstones packstones abundant reef-building organisms like calcareous sponges, corals encrusting organisms. Inside this part of open-marine influenced layers are rare. continues a turbiditic sequence chaotic rudstones, densely packed reef-derived material broken reefbuilding shallow-water gastropods, bivalves foraminifers. Grainstones clear influence (e.g., thin-shelled bivalves, crinoids, conodonts) appear between those cases lumachelle be composed halobiids were deposited. To end some show bedding mixed deep-marine grains organisms, i.e. filaments crinoids. On base conodonts, foraminifers, algae, holothurians throughout whole succession, middle Norian (Alaunian) Rhae tian 1, most probably (Sevatian) age can assigned similar sedimentation pattern fore-reef limestone facies, e.g., Northern Calcareous Alps or eastern Southern Alps. study closes important gap knowledge about extent, facies stratigraphy Carbonate Platform evolution Dinarides.

Tetrapod Biostratigraphy and Biochronology across the Triassic-jurassic Boundary in Northeastern Arizona
Nonmarine fluvial, eolian and lacustrine strata of the Chinle and Glen Canyon groups in northeastern Arizona and adjacent areas preserve tetrapod body fossils and footprints that are one of the world’s most extensive tetrapod fossil records across the Triassic-Jurassic boundary. We organize these tetrapod fossils into five, time-successive biostratigraphic assemblages (in ascending order, Owl R...

The Beyşehir–Hoyran–Hadim Nappes crop out over 700 km from NW to SE. Above a regionally autochthonous Tauride carbonate platform the Beyşehir–Hoyran Nappes begin with a thrust sheet (c. 400 m) of mainly redeposited carbonates, quartzose sandstones and mudstones of Mid–Late Triassic age, interpreted as a proximal slope–base-of-slope succession. Above is a thrust sheet (c. 1 km) of Middle–Upper T...

Rhaetian strata from the Nayband Formation of the Tabas block, East- Central Iran, were studied palynologically. The materialexamined contained moderately diverse and well-preserved dinoflagellate cyst assemblages which lead to the identification ofRhaetogonyaulax rhaetica Zone. The assigned age of this dinozone (Rhaetian) is justified by plant fossils such as Equisetitesarenaceus, Scytophyllum...

This study includes a thorough systematic analysis of the ichnological record in the Late Triassic siliciclastic Nayband Formation of the Tabas Block, Central Iran. A total of 48 ichnospecies representing 28 ichnogenera are identified and their preservation aspects, paleoecological aspects, producers and behavioral aspects are discussed. The ichnofauna includes Arenicolites, Asterosoma, Bergaue...
